NIFT Chennai

Admission to NIFT Chennai takes place through the NIFT entrance exam that is conducted by NTA. It comprises 3 parts – 

• Creative ability test (CAT) – It is a paper based examination
• General ability test (GAT) – It is a LAN based CBT (Computer Based Test) examination.
• Personality Test – It is an offline interview round.

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent course

SRM IST- Ramapuram

The admission process SRM IST involves the following steps-

• Any Group Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% Marks (or) 10+3 Year Diploma
• Candidates will be called for counseling based on the fulfilling requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates can choose their program in a particular campus

• Admission is through a merit list that is prepared by the institute.

A candidate must have passed the 10th +12th (HSC) Equivalent or PUC or TNOU BPP or 10th +3 Years Diploma. Merit based admission takes place according to this result.
