Established in 2018 under the University of Haryana, World University of Design (WUD) is a private university located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana, India. It claims to be “India’s first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain. The university ranked 2nd in the Top 10 Private Universities offering Professional Education by the Education World India Higher Education Ranking and was awarded as ‘Most Upcoming University of India’ by ASSOCHAM India Education Excellence Award. It was also recognized for Excellence in Design Education at the World Education Summit in the years 2019, 2020 & 2021 continuously and the entrance of this university is through WUD Aptitude test. World University of Design Exam Pattern

To gain admission to WUD, you must clear the WUD Entrance Exam, which tests your design aptitude, creativity, problem-solving skills, IQ, and observation power of the candidate. Candidates need to attempt at least 15-20 questions in 2 hours. Given below is the exam pattern for the WUD entrance exam.

1. Fill the Admission Form: Students will need to send a completed application form available on the website along with the application fee.

2. Appear for Aptitude Test: The students shall appear in the aptitude test with the Admit Cards made available online. The students shall be shortlisted on the basis of their performance and the list of students qualifying the next stage would be announced online.

3. Campus Interview: The student will appear in a personal interview conducted by a panel. The interview panel will ask questions related to the field of study selected by the student. Creative evidence (portfolio, drawings, photographs, crafts etc.) in hard copy may also be showcased.

4. Offer of Admission/ Admission: Successful candidates will be made an offer of admission to join WUD. The offer will be sent via an email. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of Hostel and date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be included in the admission letter.

Note: Students who have qualified UCEED, NID, NIFT entrance exams for B.Des and M.Des degree programmes are eligible for direct portfolio.
