The Design Village ranking in India is one of its most important selling points. TDV the Design College Noida is ranked 39 among the top 40 design private schools per the IIRF ranking last year. The Design Village B.Des: Admission process

Interested candidates must fill out the application form. The form requires a basic personal information portfolio as well as academic qualification which showcases the candidate’s work. Candidates will have to appear for the TDV design entrance exam which assesses the candidate’s creative problem-solving skills as well as design aptitude. If the candidate has any previous design work these can be reviewed to assess their capability creativity and potential through their portfolio.

The candidate must have a minimum 50% score in higher secondary examination or class XII equivalent.  Likewise, the candidate also has to get through the TDV design entrance test.

The Design Village Courses and Fees

While the total tuition fees for UG courses are Rs 24,00,000, there will be extra charges for the application, exam, and other associated fees. The Design Village courses such as B.Des fees can range from Rs 1.5 Lakh lowest to Rs 2 Lakh. 

The tuition fee for UG courses may seem very high but TDV also offers entry scholarships to students which can go up to 100% of first year tuition fee. These scholarships are purely based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam, likewise any score in an equivalent national aptitude test can be taken into account. Scholarships are granted to the top 10% of merit holders from each preceding academic year.

The Design Village Average Package

 As per the latest data that is available the highest package in Design Village can range from rupees 18,00,000 to rupees 25,00,000 per annum. The average package of the Design Village school had been Rs 6 Lakh per annum. Likewise, the placement rate of 75% indicates a very high number of students getting placed into good companies.

The Design Village B.Des Selection Process

 For admission to the Design Village Bachelor of Design, there are two stages: Part 1 (Aptitude Test), and Part 2 (Interview). The first part is conducted as the entrance exam while in the 2nd part candidates can have a prepared portfolio which can increase their chances against their competitors and give them an edge in the selection process.
