The Parul University of Vadodara Gujarat is one of the few universities that offers its results via its app called PUMIS app. It has been accredited A++ by NAAC and is recognized as an Indian top 200 university by NIRF. Not only that but it has also become the youngest private state University of Gujarat to be recognized as category one university with grand or graded autonomy by UGC. The College offers a bachelor’s of design and any candidate aspiring to be a designer from a top university in India can apply to Parul University. In this blog, we are going to discuss the university admission process, eligibility, courses offered in the design fail selection process to the exam pattern of PUDAT conducted by the university.
Parul University Admission
The last date to fill the application form is 28th March 2025 and the exam will be conducted till 6th April 2025. PID does not provide any Admit Card since PUDAT is organised online. The DAT shall be conducted on the WAC (World Assessment Council ) online platform.
Candidates will be provided login credentials via email/SMS/call. For the same, candidates will have to fill out the online application on the application portal and the application fee for the same remains Rs 2000. The fee has to be paid in online mode and either the transaction ID should be written or the printout should be taken for future reference. Students can appear for an unlimited number of attempts provided that the candidate is following up the eligibility criteria. Candidates can follow these six steps to have their admission process error-free:

- Confirm your seat by taking provisional admission

- Select and Pay for the Hostel

Parul University Eligibility
To be eligible for a bachelor’s in design the candidate must have passed 12th grade with at least 35% in English maths and science from a recognised board such as CBSE.

Parul University Course & Fees
While Parul University has not released graphic design fees separately, the tuition fee for a bachelor’s in design is Rs 2,25,000 annually which may vary based on the country as well as the state of qualification. In addition to this if the candidate is availing of the hostel services they will have to pay extra charges. Currently, Parul University holds the capacity for residence of 10,000 students.

Candidates can also avail the scholarship on first air phase based upon the percentage that they have scored in the entrance exam. Scholarship can reach up to 30% if the percentage scored by the candidate is more than 90% likewise any candidate who achieves 70 to 80 percent will be waived 10% off of their tuition fees.

Parul University Selection Process
Parul University B Des Placements offers a range of 6-7 LPA. The university admits the students on a stage process. The first step is giving the PUDAT (Design Aptitude Test). This test is framed to assess the candidate’s reasoning, problem-solving skills, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension skills. The second step will be to update their portfolio which consists of different art forms that the candidate has created so far via a link. The portfolio will be evaluated by a university judging panel. Finally, there will be an interview conducted and the average score of all three phases will be taken into consideration for the final selection process.
