NSUT B.Des Admission Process: Eligibility, Exam Pattern, and Selection Process

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is the 8th top university as per India Today colleges. NSUT NIRF Ranking Rank-band has also been 101-150. Bachelor of Design is one of the courses provided by the Department of Design. NSUT Admission Process
The last day to fill up the application forms for NSUT B.Des is tentatively July 2025. The admission is based on fulfilling the eligibility and merit criteria of entrance exams. Then it is preceded by the counselling that is placed on the 2nd Floor, Department of Design, NSUT, Sector 3, Dwarka. When the candidates get an allotment in any round, an online Provisional Admission letter is generated in the candidate’s login account on the NSUT website. These candidates must verify their physical documents on the prescribed date:
- Self-attested copy of the receipt of the Admission Fee Payment.
- Copy of online created Registration Form duly signed by guardian/parent and candidate.
- Copy of the passport-size colour photograph.
- Copy of the Admit Card & Rank Card of Entrance Test.
- Copy of the marks sheet of the qualifying examination, i.e., Class XII or equivalent.
- Copy out of Seat Allotment Letter
- Copy of the High School or equivalent examination (i.e., Class X) certificate as proof of Date of Birth.
- Copy of the Reserved category and sub-category certificates.
- Copy of the Medical fitness certificate original in case of General/EWS/SC/ST/CW/OBC/ (Format available on the website)
NSUT Eligibility
While the candidates who have passed the 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination are eligible, Candidates must note that there is seat allocation of Delhi region candidates. Furthermore, admission is based on the priority basis of entrance exams.

NSUT Course & Fees
NSUT has not released the fees for the next batch yet. However, candidates can look through patterns through the previous year’s batch fees. The annual fees for bachelor of design may range from Rs 2,40,000 to Rs 2,90,000.

NSUT Selection Process
There might be some situations when a lower-ranking person may be admitted into the course while a higher-ranking person is still on the waiting list. This issue may occur due to priority-based admissions. Different priorities are given, Based on the entrance exam given by the candidates. Due to the same, the NSUT cut-off may vary for different candidates. Priority will be given to those students who have cleared the “UCEED” entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay.
Second priority will be given to those students who have secured a rank in a National Level “Design” Entrance Examination (or an entrance exam in allied Design fields), for a Four Year Course of any Central (“Government of India”) funded Institute/University.
Third priority will be given to those students who have secured a rank in a State Level “Design” Entrance Examination (or an entrance exam in allied Design fields), for a Four Year Course of any State Government funded Institute/University.

NSUT Placement
In the recent placement, NSUT’s highest package offered was Rs 1 crore per annum. The average salary offered at the university has been Rs 17.75 L. The reason behind such a high package is its training cell, as it also offers internships for each batch.
