The basic eligibility for admission to the Bachelor of Design program is completing 10+2 from any stream, whether Humanities, Commerce, or Science, from a recognized board (State Boards/AISSCE/IB/ISC). Candidates must also clear the admission process, which includes a Design Aptitude Test, followed by a studio test and a personal interview. Additionally, the age limit for eligibility is 20 years.

MIT ADT Scholarships 2025

Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are supported by MITADT scholarships. These scholarships, which can be partial or full, are awarded to 5% of the total student body each year. Eligibility depends on academic performance and financial need. Candidates can apply for financial assistance after admission, and an interview panel will assess their eligibility. To apply, students must submit necessary income-related documents, including statements from family members or guardians. The application form is available from the Institute office once the candidate has been admitted.

MIT ADT Selection Process 2025

Candidates must fill out the online application form available on the website and pay the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) fee of Rs. 3000/- while submitting the form.

The first phase is the DAT exam, conducted on the 1st Sunday of April. Based on the DAT scores, candidates are shortlisted for Phase 2, with a minimum of four times the sanctioned intake or more potentially shortlisted. The last candidate’s score on the list will serve as the cutoff for open category candidates. Reserved category candidates will receive a 10% relaxation in the cutoff score compared to the open category.
