KTU B.Des Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for admission to the KTU B.Des program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Nationality	Indian citizens only.
Academic Qualification	10+2 (Higher Secondary) with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Alternative Qualification	Candidates with a Diploma in Vocational (D.Voc.) in the same or allied sector are also eligible.
Entrance Exam Requirement	Candidates must qualify the Kerala State Design Aptitude Test (KS-DAT) conducted by LBS Centre.

The KS-DAT is a state-level entrance examination designed to assess candidates’ design aptitude, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.

The admission process for the KTU B.Des program follows a structured selection method:

Seat Type	Selection Criteria
Government Seat	Based on KS-DAT rank list prepared by LBS Centre for Science and Technology.
Management Seat	Candidates can apply through national-level entrance exams such as NATA, UCEED, NID-DAT, or NIFT.
