IMS: Admission process
The application fee for IMS Delhi is Rs. 1,200. Once you access the application portal, make sure to have soft copies of all necessary documents, including your mark sheet, photographs, and valid identity card, ready. Fill out the application form as required.
The entrance exam for DIA is held in the second week of January, with GAT and CAT as part of the exam pattern. Candidates are also required to submit a portfolio, which will be evaluated during the interview.
IMS Exam Pattern 2025
To prepare for the IMS exam, make sure to go through the details for both the General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Creative Aptitude Test (CAT). These tests assess candidates’ abilities in creativity, reasoning, spatial reasoning, sketching, and more. The GAT exam lasts 90 minutes and includes MCQs focusing on quantitative ability, English comprehension, and logical reasoning. For CAT, candidates must attempt one out of two questions within 1.5 hours, which also involves sketching. This will be followed by an interview where the jury will assess your portfolio and creativity.

IMS Selection Process
The selection process is based on the entrance exams conducted by IMS, the interview, and the candidate’s portfolio. All these factors play a major role in the final selection.
