Under GENESYS JAPAN, IIITDM Jabalpur hosted the Japan International Cooperation Agency – Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan delegation. The prestigious Japanese initiative was presented to students and faculty by SATO from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, the institute promotes multiple extracurricular activities for the holistic development of students. These activities include GO GREEN by Schneider Electronics, IIITDMJ Racing, India Delegation (China), Robocon, and Youth Delegation. IIIT Jabalpur Placements

IITDM has one of the best placement rates. The IIIT Jabalpur placement percentage for students who received packages over 10 LPA is as high as 65%. Three international packages have been offered, with the highest international package reaching 1.22 crore per annum. The IIITDM Jabalpur CSE average package stands at Rs. 19.27 LPA. Over 90 companies visited the campus, making a total of 284 offers. Compared to the previous year, there has been a 34% increase in domestic packages, with the highest domestic package reaching 1.10 crore.

The placement team consists of members from every degree program the college offers, including B.Tech students from each specialization including CSE, ECE, and ME.
