IES University B.Des Admission Process 2025

The admission process for the B.Des program at the university includes the following steps:

1. Fill the online application form through the IES University Website.
2. Submit the following documents:

• Marks sheet of class 10th standard
• Marks sheet of class 12th standard
• Transfer certificate (if required)
• Character certificate
• Passport-size photographs

3. Appear for the Entrance Exam conducted by the university.
4. Shortlisted candidates then need to appear for the Personal Interview process.
5. Fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed below in the blog.
6. Merit list be released based upon the scores.
7. The selected candidates then need to verify their documents and pay the admission fee.

• NIFT Entrance Exam: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts an entrance exam known as the NIFT Entrance Exam. This exam is a common admission test for various B.Des. programs related to fashion and design.

• CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design): CEED is another widely recognized entrance exam for admission to design programs. It is conducted jointly by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and is used for admission to various design courses, including B.Des.

• NID DAT (National Institute of Design – Design Aptitude Test): NID DAT is the entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Design for its B.Des. programs. It assesses a candidate’s design aptitude and creativity.

• UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design): UCEED is another entrance exam conducted by IITs for admission to B.Des. programs. It evaluates a candidate’s aptitude for design.
