To develop critical thinking, start by questioning assumptions. Instead of accepting information at face value, actively ask why something is the way it is and explore alternative viewpoints. Candidates should reflect on their own thinking by regularly evaluating thought processes and identifying any biases or gaps in reasoning. This helps to make more objective judgments.
Expand knowledge by exposing to diverse perspectives and new information, which broadens your understanding and improves ability to analyze problems. Finally, engage in thoughtful decision-making by carefully weighing the evidence and considering the consequences of different choices. This combination of questioning, reflecting, learning, and evaluating will help candidates become a more critical thinker.
