The admission process at the institute involves the following steps:

1. Fill the online application form through the GLS Institute of Design Website.
2. Fulfill the eligibility criteria.
3. Appear for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
4. The qualifying candidates then need to appear for the Interviews.
5. The final shortlisting is done on the basis of the above tests.
6. The selected candidates are issued the offer letters.
7. The selected candidates then need to verify their documents and pay the admission fee.

The selection process for the various programs at the institute includes the following steps:

1. Fulfill the eligibility criteria.
2. Appear for the GLS-DAT Exam.
3. The qualifying candidates then need to appear for the Interviews. In the interview/interaction round, aspirants are evaluated on the below-mentioned parameters:

• Aptitude for the course
• Overall personality traits
• Overall personal achievements in academics & extra-curricular activities
• General awareness and aptitude
