What is Figma.
Figma vs XD, In.Vision, Framer, Axure RP, UX Pin, Sketch
Figma and its use in the Industry.
A power packed tool for Designers, team building and executing large scale UX projects. (introduction to observation tool and how to onboard on Figma)
- Hands on practice
Trainer to make the students to get their hands on Figma and create a File.
Introduction to Frames, shapes, pen tool, text, typography, hand tool, comment, masking and edit objects.
Trainees will create an Icon/Illustration by drawing something on paper and taking it up on figma.
- Responsive Layout
Introduction to basic terms like dp, sp (pixels) and understanding layout and grids, gutter, margins, negative space, columns, and rows.
Creating a replica of an Amazon/Gmail screen and understanding how to create custom grids and Layouts.
Introduction to Plugins and exploring 3-5 plugins by using them while creating screens.
- Home assignment
Create 3 screens for a food delivery app and submit them on My Coach platform.

Learning outcome – The student will be able to understand the basic tools in Figma and how to use them for any UX project by understanding how to draw and make advanced icons, illustrations using these tools. They will be able to work with color, text and visualize designs and apply them in a composition.
