Sanjeev Agrawal Global Educational (SAGE) University Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has its department Centre for Liberal and Advanced Studies (CLAS).  SAGE is one of the few NAAC A+ accredited universities. CLAS aims to prepare students not only for specific careers but also for active citizenship and personal growth through its multidisciplinary courses.  One of the three specializations that it offers is the bachelor of design. Candidates who aspire to be a designer by doing the course can get to know more about the admission process, eligibility criteria and the course description proposed by CLAS.

Candidates can fill out the application form with and maintain essays, recommendations and transcripts to maintain and assist in their admission and selection process.

• Application: Fill out and submit an application form with your details.
• Essays: Write essays or personal statements about why you want to attend.  To learn more about these essays, candidates must go through the Internet and search about how to write a statement of purpose (SoP) or admission essay.
• Recommendations: Get letters of recommendation from teachers or others who know you well.  A letter of recommendation can create a sense of impression on the judging panel of your past active performance.
• Transcripts: Send your school transcripts to show your academic performance.  Students who perform well in academics must put their results and performance through school transcripts.
• Interviews: Some programs might ask for an interview to learn more about you.  While it is not mentioned if a bachelors of design require an interview, candidates must always be prepared with their portfolio.

Centre for Liberal and Advanced Studies fees for online application is Rs 1600/- non-refundable in nature and the admission fee is Rs 10,000/-.

 As a prospective student, the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognized school board. A minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as a qualifying criterion to secure admission to this degree course. 

Centre for Liberal and Advanced Studies Courses

The course is structured for specific careers and personal growth. In the first year following subjects are to be taught irrespective of the degree chosen by the candidate:

 After successfully attempting the first year, the candidates can be promoted to the second year with a major bachelor of design with a specialisation in product design.  After the second year candidates can pursue advanced course work, participate in internships and experimental learning opportunities, undertake a capstone project or thesis, receive career development support and create an extension from the foundation courses mentioned in the semester.

SAGE University Bhopal Fees

SAGE University Bhopal has courses bachelor of Design with a specialisation in interior and space planning design, apparel and fashion design, liberal arts and product design.  All of the courses are a 4-year duration while the total tuition fees may range from Rs 7,00,000 to Rs 14,00,000.
