Banasthali Vidyapith Admission Process

Admission vanaspati Vidyapeeth is open to all women. Every candidate has to compulsorily join our hostel of Vidyapith unless they are a child of a ward or a part of the neighbouring village communities. Every candidate seeking admission to Banasthali Vidyapith has to submit an application on the prescribed form and pay the requisite application fee by the stipulated date.

(GAT B qualified candidates need not pay an application fee. The same will be collected/adjusted from the admitted students.)  To get admission into Banasthali Vidyapith  one must follow the following steps:

• Send a DD for Rs. 1000/- in favour of “Banasthali Vidyapith” which is payable at Banasthali Campus
• Prospectus and form can also be obtained in person upon payment of Rs. 1000/- in cash.
• Online submission of applications is also possible on their official website.

Banasthali Vidyapith Eligibility

Banasthali Vidyapith Design department faculty has defined the minimum Eligibility for BDes courses as 50% aggregate in Senior Secondary 10+2 from any stream. Admission is based on a combined merit of 50% marks in the aptitude test and 50% of the normalized aggregate percentage in 10+2.   

Banasthali Vidyapith B. Design Fee Structure

The specialisations offered in bachelor or design by Banasthali Vidyapeeth are Fashion and lifestyle design, communication design, and interior design. The total tuition fee is 6.26 lakh and with a duration of 4 years. Here exams like RBSE, CBSE, and ISC are accepted. Some other charges include as follows:

• A one-time Banasthali Vidyapith hostel fee of Rs. 5,000/- shall be charged to all newly admitted students.
• The regular students classified in groups (A+), (A1), (A2) and (A3) respectively shall pay a one-time course admission fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs.8,000/-, Rs. 5,000/-, Rs.2000/-
  

If the candidate wishes to have a concession in their tuition fee they can apply for the scholarship. Banasthali Vidyapeeth offers both merit scholarships as well as merit cum need scholarships. In addition to these, the  University also accepts scholarships from other institutions. By applying to these scholarships candidates can have a concession of Rs 10,000.

Banasthali Vidyapith Exam Pattern

The exam is divided into two parts. The first part contains 40 questions which will have to be attempted in 2 hours while the second part will be only 30 minutes duration for the personality inventory test where the candidate’s communication and English comprehension skills will be assessed.
