Apeejay Institute of Design , established in the year 1991ins by the Rajeshwari Sangeet Academy Trust, Jalandhar to mould it into a premier design institute of the country. Apeejay Institute of Design also known as AID is a privately funded and managed institute.AID has been ranked among top institutes of design in the country by top publications including being ranked at 4th for design by IIRF 2024. AID comes under the widespread umbrella of Apeejay Education. Apeejay Institute of Design Entrance exam 2025
The institution conducts its own entrance exam known as AID design aptitude test for their B.Des programme. They accept the scores from other national level entrance exams and the 10+2 score for all of their courses given, they have the minimum requirements of 50% from any recognised board. The shortlisted candidates will have through a final interview round to earn their place in the AID college.

- Read the application procedure and download the form.
- Send the application along with photocopies of required documents
- Separate forms have to be filled for each course.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 900 through a cheque in favour of the “Apeeja Institute of Design ”

- Certificate of the examination last passed
- Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
- Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
- Passport size photographs of mother and father with signature on reverse

Apeejay Institute of Design Selection Process 2025:
Application Process: The first step to getting an admission in the AID is the application process where the candidates need to visit the official website of the institution, download and fill out the application form with required documents and details. Then mail it to the university or at the official email address.
Merit Based Selection/ Aptitude Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit in exams and will move forward to the next stage of selection process.
Final Interview: Selected candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted at campus. The interview will evaluate the confidence and individuality of the candidate.
Note: For the UG course candidates will have to appear for the Aptitude test and interview while for the PG course, they have to appear for the interview.
