Manav Rachna School of Design Admission
The process starts with the filing of an online application form and the payment of the application fee which is non-refundable. Candidates are required to fill in details and choose their programs. Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT) is organized wherever it is applicable. For a bachelor’s of design, MRDT is organized where the candidates’ design capabilities are assessed through multiple series of questions.
Once the exam is conducted merit list is prepared as per eligibility criteria. Candidates are called for physical counselling on scheduled dates along with any requisitive documents and first semester fees.
After the admission is approved an admission letter and temporary identity card will be issued after paying applicable fees through Demand Draft/ Credit or Debit card or bank transfer.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission is to pass the 10+2 Examination / Equivalent Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects including English as a compulsory subject along with 4 subjects with the highest score out of the remaining subjects.

Manav Rachna University B des fees in association with Industry knowledge partners can be given in instalments. In the first instalment, fees like tuition fees, development fees, university fees, training partner fees etc. are taken into consideration. However, in the second instalment University fees and student resources fees don’t have to be paid.

Manav Rachna School of Design Hostel Fees
MREI provides both on-campus and off-campus hostel accommodation for boys and girls with single, double and triple rooms. It provides services such as TV, PCs, Wi-fi, Telephone, RO Drinking water, newspapers as well as games like Table Tennis etc. There is an accommodation facility of 1200+ Students in the Boys Hostel and 900+ Students in the Girls Hostel.
The fee can range from Rs 2,14,500 to Rs 1,44,500 based on the occupancy type.
Manav Rachna School of Design Exam Pattern
The Manav Rachna Design Aptitude Test (MR-DT) 2025 is organised in two parts. It follows a similar pattern to the UCEED exam. While part A consists of 25 MCQs with 50 marks assessing visual-spatial reasoning, part B has only two subjective questions of 25 marks which evaluate candidates’ problem-solving, design aptitude and creative skills.

Manav Rachna School of Design Selection Process
For admission into the bachelor’s of design, Manav Rachna School of Design has a three stage process. Starting with, there will be an online exam that can be given from home with no negative marking for wrong answers. When the candidate is successful, the second stage ‘portfolio presentation’, will showcase their achievements and previous design demonstrating their creative thought processes.
Finally to test candidates’ creative approaches knowledge of design and professional aspirations a personal interview would be conducted. After going through the stage process candidates are selected based on the average score if they fulfill the judging panel’s criteria.
