PP Savani University B.Des Admission Process: Eligibility, Exam Pattern, and Selection Process

PP Savani  University Admission

For admission into PP Savani University candidates can open the admission portal where they will have to follow the steps given below and fill out the details as mentioned: 

1. PERSONAL DETAILS

This section includes all the details such as name, date of birth, category, Aadhar number, nationality, quota, father’s name, father’s mobile number etc. Candidates will also be given the save draft option which can help them to save the form filled till that particular step. When the candidate wants to proceed to the next section they can click on the option save and continue.

2. ACADEMIC DETAILS

Fill out all the details regarding your academic past performances. This information requires the exam details from SSC, and HSC, as well as all the diploma subject details if pursued already. This section includes the school name, obtained percentage or a grade for each subject section. Likewise, when the candidate has pursued a diploma they can fill up the subject details for the diploma.

3. UPLOAD DOCUMENTS

Be ready with all the documents soft copy that you need to upload to the portal. All the document sizes should be less than 1 MB.

  • 10th passing certificate
  • 12th mark sheet

4. PAYMENT DETAILS 

In this last section, candidates can add courses. If candidates want to apply for multiple courses, they have the choice to select courses accordingly. Payment methods of candidates’ convenience can be selected from the drop-down option. The registration fee was Rs 350 for a course. Once the transaction is done, candidates will get a message about successful payment. In addition, the student will receive a PDF of the form filled out on their email ID.

The candidate shall have passed 12th in any stream (Arts/Humanities, Commerce or Science stream) from a recognised board such as CBSE.

PP Savani Course & Fees

PP Savani offers a Bachelor of Design course with specialisations in Fashion and Textile Design, Product Design, Interior Design and Visual and Communication Design. PP Savani Exam Pattern

Admission to PP Savani is based upon merit and no entrance exam is organised. However, Candidates must have passed all subjects in 12th Grade from any of the streams. 

PP Savani Hostel Fees

The University also offers hostel services for all station students; the students can choose the accommodation type from dormitory to AC or noun AC depending upon their preferences; the fees per year in the current batch range from Rs 80000 to Rs 1,23,000. In addition to the yearly fees, there will be a Rs 10,000 electricity charge deposit per semester. There is also a security deposit of Rs 10,000 which is refundable when the admission is withdrawn. However, hostel fees are not refundable and non-transferable. 

Since the university seems to take care of the well-being of its students, it is compulsory to have health insurance. If the student already has health insurance then they can submit a copy of their insurance or they will have to pay Rs 1,000 per year for insurance.

Admission to PPSU is preferable since it is only 60 minutes away from the railway station and bus station. If the student wishes to have a student pass they can avail it through the admin department.

The university also offers bus routes from various stations. The centres include Surat, Kim, Kosamba, Ankleshwar and Bharuch. Kosamba to PP Savani University distance of 19 min (10.6 km), and PP Savani University is an accessible route. The bus fee depends on the distance of the centre from the college. PP Savani University bus fees range from Rs 12,000 to Rs 18,300 per semester.
