BBK DAV College for Women Admission Process

Bachelor of Design has a seat availability of 90. The candidates may follow up on the application portal to fill up the application. However, they must have the following documents that may come in handy once the admission is verified by the panel. These documents will also be verified at the admission counter.

• DMC of Class X.
• Result of Class XI.
• DMC of Class XII (In case the result is not declared, Roll No. Slip / Character Certificate may be provided).
• Original Migration Certificate issued by the Board to students who have passed the Class XII examination from a Board other than Punjab School Education Board.
• Aadhaar Card.
• Four latest coloured passport-size photographs (not in school uniform).
• In the case of Scheduled Caste / Tribe / Backward Class, the concerned student must attach a certificate from the competent authority.

BBK DAV College for Women B.Des courses have the basic eligibility of 10+2 of Punjab School Education Board / State Board / CBSE / ICSE. There are two courses offered under the Bachelor of Design: one in Multimedia and the other in multiple specializations such as Fashion, Textile, and Interior Design.

BBK DAV College Amritsar fee structure has not been released officially on the website. However, this can be consulted via CollegeDekho counsellors as well. In addition to the total tuition fee and application or admission fee, there are also hostel services provided to the candidates who are outstation. The hostel provides facilities like air-conditioned rooms, a study centre, a computer lab with an internet facility, a solar water heating system, an RO water purification system, a huge dining hall, and medical facilities. Some of the rules that apply are as follows:

• Visitors are allowed to meet their wards during specified days and hours only.
• Visitors are allowed only in the visiting room.
• No visitor will be allowed on odd days or during odd hours.
• No guest will be allowed to stay in the hostel for the night, not even female guests.
• The visitors must sign the Visitor’s Register at the gate before entering.

The college does not hold or organize any entrance exam for admission into its courses. The basic admission can be fulfilled by meeting the minimum eligibility criteria as well as based on merit.
