Flame University Admission Process
Flame University’s application deadline is set in multiple cycles. For admission, register on the Flame University website, and the candidate will receive login information via email. Moving on, the candidate must upload required documents like passing certificates, 12th grade mark sheets, and optional certificates or transcripts.
There is an application fee of Rs. 2,000 that can be paid via an online method. This fee is non-refundable. After payment, the application will be completed in detail, such as the statement of purpose and photo. Candidates will receive confirmation and an application number via email once the application is completed. All the details will be sent by email with dates, times, and instructions.
The candidate must first give the Flame Design Aptitude Test (FDAT), and then there will be a personal interview. Based on both, the final decision for admission will be made by the admission panel. Flame University Eligibility
Candidates must be less than 21 years of age as of July 31, 2025. For CBSE, CISCE, and State Boards, candidates must have passed the 12th standard final examination. In case candidates are currently enrolled in 12th standard or equivalent, they can also apply, provided they submit their passing certificate/marksheet by August 31, 2025. Admission will be provisional until the certificate is submitted. If not submitted by the last date, admission will be withdrawn.
Likewise, FDAT is optional for those with UCEED, NIFT, or NID scores. A high score in these exams improves the chances of selection. International Baccalaureate (IB) students must have a diploma.

Flame University Exam Pattern
Candidates will have to take the Flame University entrance exam, FDAT, if they haven’t given other entrance exams for design. The FDAT syllabus is quite similar to other exams. It contains two parts: the first part has four sections examining the candidates’ verbal reasoning, quantitative, and general knowledge ability. Part two is regarding drawing, sketching, and situation analysis questions. In total, the exam will be conducted in 2.5 hours. Candidates are advised to carry an identity proof for the process, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport.
For UCEED/NID/NIFT Candidates, FDAT is optional, and only an online personal interview will be conducted.

FLAME University Scholarship
Flame University also provides scholarships based on merit and financial need. These scholarships are awarded based on the performance of candidates in the entrance exam or their ranking in various fields. Additionally, for financial aid, any student facing financial hardship due to circumstances such as family debt, serious illness, etc., can apply for assistance. Supporting documents are required to verify such claims. Finally, students who rank in the top 5% of their batch with a minimum CGPA of 8.5 are also eligible for special scholarships.
