Indus University Design Entrance Exam
Admission to the BDes program is entrance-based, requiring candidates to qualify for the Indus Design Aptitude Test (IDAT), followed by a Personal Interview (PI).
The examination process for admission includes two key components:
- Stage 1: Aptitude Test The design test will consist of two parts. Part a: Objective-type questions, which will assess your logical skills and aptitude for design. Part b: Drawing test, which will assess your creative skills and hand skills.
- Stage 2: Personal Interview At the personal interview round, you will be tested for design knowledge, communication skills, awareness, and interpretations, along with a review of your portfolio which you are required to bring along with you.
Additionally, Portfolio Evaluation plays an important role in the final selection process. Candidates are required to submit a portfolio showcasing their previous work, which is assessed for creativity, innovation, and design sensibility.
Application Process for Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programme
- Fill out the online application form available on the website.
- Upload a passport-size photograph (max size 2MB).
- Upload your portfolio in PDF format (max size 20MB).
- Complete the payment requirement of Rs. 2000.
