How to get into LPU, Jalandhar

Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar, has started its admission process. The entrance exam is remotely proctored and will continue until February 5th, 2025. Once the entrance exam concludes, online counseling and seat allocation will begin on February 8th and continue until February 14th. This will be followed by interviews, and candidates who fulfill all criteria will receive an allotment letter.

LPU hosts its own entrance exam, LPUNEST, for admissions. However, candidates can also be admitted based on merit. The admission criteria differ depending on whether admission is through direct merit or exam. While LPU accepts other design entrance exams like UCEED, NID, TAT, and NIFT, it is advisable to fill out the LPUNEST form as the syllabus for LPUNEST and other design exams is quite similar.

In case the candidate has not studied English as a subject, they may be exempted if they have studied in an equivalent subject or have taken the exam in English medium. The exam will be held online, remotely proctored from home. How to prepare for LPU Exam Pattern

LPUNEST for Design consists of five sections. The first four sections are in MCQ format, with each question worth two marks. There will be one subjective question related to Design or Film Production, in the Creative Ability Test section, which is worth 80 marks. The total time allotted for the exam is 2.5 hours.

The last date for the remotely proctored LPUNEST exam is February 5th, 2025. To apply for admission to LPU, candidates must follow a series of steps. First, they need to register on the LPU website with their details and verify their registration through email. After that, candidates should log in, fill out the application form, and upload the required documents. They can also apply for an online test for scholarships during this process.
